I help people who are navigating life's transitions to build strength, confidence and capability in their bodies
I want to help you keep doing the things you love, no matter what comes your way.

I spent years as a Social Worker, watching people feel limited by their circumstances - their age, health changes, what they thought their body and mind "should" be capable of. I saw how that sense of limitation led to stagnation, and I felt drawn to address this through physical empowerment. That's why I became a Personal Trainer.
I believe fitness isn't about looking a certain way or hitting arbitrary goals. It's about building a body that supports your life - whether that's navigating menopause, recovering from a health setback, staying active as you age, or simply feeling confident and capable in your own skin.
For me, that means being able to adventure in the hills on a whim with my 8-year-old and getting better at climbing. Fitness gives me freedom, and I want that for you too.
My approach combines my social work values with evidence-based training. I see the whole person, not just the muscles. And I'm here to help you discover that your body is far more capable than you think ... you just need the right support to unlock it.
Functional strength for real life. Community and accountability. Celebration of progress, not perfection.
That's what working with me looks like.

I offer flexible options to fit your life and your goals:
Small Group Training
Train with a supportive crew of like-minded people who are navigating similar life changes. Small groups (max 6 people) mean you get personalized attention while building accountability and community. Perfect if you thrive on shared energy and encouragement.
1-to-1 Personal Training
Tailored support for your specific needs - whether you're rebuilding strength after a health issues, gaining confidence in the gym, or working toward a particular goal. Sessions can take place at a gym or in the comfort of your own home - whatever works best for you.
I currently work from gyms in Bradford and Elland, with mobile personal training available throughout Bradford and surrounding districts.

"I can't recommend Emma enough for anyone looking to build strength, improve technique and push their limits in the gym. From day one, Emma has taken the time to understand my goals, assess my abilities and tailor a program that was both challenging and achievable. Her depth of knowledge in strength training is evident, whether it's perfecting form, optimizing workouts or guiding recovery. Beyond just workouts, Emma brings motivation and accountability to every session. Her enthusiasm and commitment to seeing me succeed have been game-changers. I've gained not just muscle, but confidence in my abilities, which is something I definitely lacked before joining Emma. If you're serious about strength training and want a trainer who truly invests in your progress, then Emma is the one!"

"Emma is a fantastic supportive personal trainer and coach. I have had sessions with Emma, one to one and in her small group sessions. She is extremely knowledgeable, listens to your requirements and sets realistic exercises, whilst pushing you to achieve. She has given me such confidence, that I now feel comfortable going to the gym on my own, and she has had a huge impact on me getting towards my goal of feeling more confident in myself, getting stronger and leaner."
